Mirjam graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht. She then obtained a master’s degree in Slavic Languages and Cultures from the University of Groningen. Mirjam has extensive work experience in various positions in the language industry. She previously focused on translation project management, quality management, (automated) translation technology, translation processes, communication and marketing. Now she is responsible for the day-to-day management of ElaN Languages in the Netherlands and develops long-term operational plans. In addition to her native Dutch, Mirjam speaks English, Russian and French.
