Hobby's
Free time! What’s that? ;) Usually, I’m wrangling two wild, not-so-little girls, working on the Belgian homestead, reading, playing on the iPad and FaceTiming with our American family and friends.
Lezen
Mostly fiction… it’s hard to pick just one book, but a few of my favourite authors are Anne Rice, J.D. Robb, Ann Moura, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, J.K. Rowling, Roald Dahl and Dr. Seuss.
Luisteren
My musical tastes are pretty eclectic too: Jethro Tull, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Macklemore, The Civil Wars, Panic! At The Disco & everything in between, with some Gregorian chants or Native American flutes thrown into the mix. I really love the music from the 80s because that’s my era!
Kijken
Anything paranormal (like Grimm), 80s angst-filled teen movies (Breakfast Club), and cult classics (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Goonies), and animated films/”kid’s” movies. Pretty much anything but really gruesome, gory horror.
The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.
