Get your training course subsidised!

Investing in the language proficiency of your employees and getting money back for doing it? It’s almost too good to be true. Well, believe it because the various governments and some sector funds will provide financial support for your company. And to top it all off, there are also subsidies for employing non-native speakers.

Flanders - Paid Educational Leave (PEL)

Because the ElaN Learning ‘Communication skills’ training courses are officially recognised, you can recover a major portion of the costs via the Paid Educational Leave (PEL) system.

It’s definitely worth the effort. The Flemish government will cover an amount of €21.30 per training hour per employee.

Flanders & Wallonia – Sector funds

It’s not just the Flemish Administration that will give you a boost. Many employers and/or trade unions support their sectors with a wide range of training options.

Are there support measures for your sector? Feel free to contact us. We will be happy to tell you which sectoral subsidies you are eligible for.

Brussels - Language training grants

The Brussels-Capital Region helps SMEs organise language training programmes. As an employer, you are eligible for a subsidy of 50% of the training costs, with a cap of €5,000.
