ElaN Languages & Eloquentia

Language company ElaN Languages has acquired Eloquentia, a translation and interpretation agency based in Mere, East Flanders.

This marks another milestone in ElaN Languages’ growth trajectory. It previously acquired Dutch translation agencies Translavic and PassworD. Training arm ElaN Learning also experienced a major expansion with the recent acquisitions of B&D and The European House (ETH).

Interpreting service: even more tailor-made

In addition to translations, Eloquentia offers specialised interpreting services. “It’s an excellent addition to our translation services. Because we can significantly strengthen our position in the interpreting market with the experience and know-how Eloquentia has accrued over the years,” continued Robrecht Belien, CEO of ElaN Languages.

Customer intimacy

Managing director Sébastien Devogele of Eloquentia said, “Eloquentia has experienced steady growth since 2012. In doing so, we have always utilised our own employees as much as possible. This is how you create a close relationship with your customers. Our employees know their customers and vice versa.”

Robrecht Belien added, “This customer intimacy is something we, like Eloquentia, hold dear and guarantees a tailor-made approach to the customer. We therefore see this acquisition as the perfect match for both Eloquentia and ElaN Languages.”

Eloquentia’s four permanent employees and managing director Sébastien Devogele will be joining ElaN’s team soon.
